Go to Fleet and tap Add vehicle (or +, then Add a vehicle). Only the type, make and model are needed. Everything else can wait.
From a photo of the blue book
- Tap Take or choose a photo and take or pick a photo or PDF of the blue book (BPKB, OR/CR or your country's registration document).
- RoveHQ fills in what it can read: plate, make, model, year, colour, frame number, engine, and tax and insurance dates.
- Check every field before saving.
If it can't read it, fill it in by hand or tap Use a different photo. The photo is kept with the vehicle's papers.
Make, model and plate
- Type of vehicle: Car, Van, Motorbike, Scooter, E-bike or ATV.
- Make and Model: pick from the list, or choose Another make / Another model and type it.
- Year, Version, Number plate, Colour.
More about the vehicle (frame number, gearbox, seats, engine) is optional.
Rates and deposit
Fill in any of Daily rate, Weekly rate or Monthly rate. Only the ones you type are saved; when a booking needs one you left empty, it's worked out from the nearest one you set.
Leave Deposit for this vehicle empty to use your usual deposit (set in Settings, Rentals and payments). See Deposits.
The extra sections
Tap to open any of these:
- Tax, insurance and service dates: road tax, compulsory insurance (Por Ror Bor), your own insurance and cover type, next service and oil change. You get reminded before they run out. See Paperwork and renewals.
- Mileage and value: mileage now and when bought, purchase price, worth now. Only the owner sees price and value.
- Location: only if you have more than one location.
- Loan: sale price, down payment, monthly payment, loan length and months left. RoveHQ shows the interest and what's still to pay. See Vehicle loans.
Tap Save vehicle. Add photos and anything you skipped from the vehicle page.
During setup you get a shorter form with Photos (up to 8; the first is the main photo) and prices. The rest can be added later from Fleet.
Questions
Do I have to set a price?
No, but a vehicle with no price doesn't show on your online booking page, and you'll be asked for a price when you book it.
