Open the vehicle, go to Paperwork & service, and open Services and repairs. You'll see the next service (by date, km or both, whichever comes first, with km left), the last service, the last oil change, and every job you've logged.
Log a service or repair
- Tap Log a service or repair (also under More for this vehicle).
- Pick What was done: Service, Oil change, Repair, Tyres or Battery.
- Fill in Date, Cost, Mileage and Garage or mechanic.
- Tick Oil changed if it was done during a service.
- Set Next due date, Next due at (km), or both.
- Add a Receipt photo if you have one, and tap Save.
RoveHQ then:
- adds the cost to Money in & out (as Servicing, or Repair for repairs, tyres and batteries)
- updates Last service (only for Service or Oil change) and Last oil change
- sets the next service, or clears an old due date you've now passed
- moves the mileage forward
- keeps the receipt in the vehicle's files
Or start from the cost
Record a Servicing, Maintenance or Repair cost in Money in & out and pick the vehicle. It goes into the service history the same way. Use one or the other, not both.
Set the next service only
Edit the vehicle, open Tax, insurance and service dates, set Next service due and Oil change due, then Save changes.
Take it off the road
More for this vehicle > Put in the shop. The status becomes In the shop so nobody books it. When it's ready, tap Back and free to rent. Only works when the vehicle is free.
Reminders
A late service shows on Fleet as Service overdue. Anything due within 7 days (or close on km) shows in Today on the dashboard. If the vehicle is out with a customer that week, they can get a message about it. See Automatic customer messages.
Questions
Do I need to add the cost in Money in & out as well?
No. Logging a service with a cost records the cost for you. Adding it again counts it twice.
