See what's due
Each booking has its list of payments (for a monthly rental, one per month). Each shows Overdue, Due today, Not due yet or Paid, grouped as "Overdue", "Due now" and "Upcoming". The booking also shows the next payment and its date.
Automatic reminders
- Settings > Messaging > Messages to customers.
- Switch on Send automatic reminders.
- Keep Rent due tomorrow and Rent 3 days late ticked (all boxes start ticked).
Each is sent once, the day before it's due or exactly 3 days after, while the rental is running and no slip has come in. It has the amount, vehicle and due date, and tells the customer they can pay and send the slip from their booking page.
They go to the customer's LINE or Telegram chat, or by email. LINE and Telegram only allow it once the customer has messaged you, so their booking page invites them to start a chat. With no chat connected, customers with an email get it by email; the rest wait in your Inbox for you to pass on. See Automatic customer messages.
Send one yourself
When a payment is due today or overdue on a booking with a customer, tap Send a reminder on the booking page. It asks for what's due now, not the whole rental.
RoveHQ uses the customer's chat first. If that's not possible but they have a WhatsApp number, WhatsApp opens with the message ready to send. If there's no way to reach them, it tells you so.
Questions
A reminder didn't go out. Where is it?
Anything RoveHQ can't send waits in your Inbox and on the booking, marked not sent, so you can pass it on with one tap.
