All of these are in Settings > Rentals and payments. They apply to bookings you make and ones customers make online. Only the owner can change them.
Usual deposit
Usual deposit: type an amount and tap away. It's used for any vehicle without its own deposit. Leave it empty for no deposit.
Discount for paying ahead
For monthly rentals. Open Discount for paying ahead, switch on Offer a lower price for paying ahead, then set Months paid at once, at least (e.g. 3), the Lower price per month, and What the customer sees (e.g. "Pay 3 months, save 10%"). Tap Save. Customers see it on their booking link.
High-season prices
- Open High-season prices > Add a season.
- Give it a name, the From and To dates, and the Change % (e.g. 20). Use a minus number for a low-season discount.
- Leave Monthly prices too off unless monthly renters should pay more as well.
- Tap Save.
Only the days that fall in the season are charged more. You can still change the price on any booking.
Paid extras
Open Paid extras > Add an extra. Name it, set the price, choose Per day or Once per booking, and whether it's for every vehicle, cars or bikes. Tap Save. Extras show on the booking form and your booking page, get added to the first payment, and go on the agreement.
Travel area and limits
This goes into your agreements.
- Home area, country, and whether you're on an Island or the Mainland.
- Whose law applies.
- Taking the vehicle to another island: Extra deposit (set the amount), Tell you first, or Not allowed.
- Vehicles are tracked by GPS: adds a line telling the customer.
- Fees and limits: km per month, fuel per 1/8 tank, late fee, cleaning, smoking, emergency repair limit, days to return the deposit. Switch off anything you don't charge and it's left out of the agreement.
Tap Save.
Holds and notice
Each one saves as soon as you change it.
- Hold a vehicle for an unsigned booking for: how long a new booking link keeps the vehicle before the dates open up again.
- Notice needed for an online booking: e.g. no bookings starting in the next 24 hours.
- Keep free after each rental: days for cleaning. Online bookings respect it; you can still book into it yourself.
- Notice a customer gives before returning: for open-ended rentals.
- Notice needed to extend automatically: extension requests made at least this far ahead are approved on their own if the vehicle is free. Later ones come to you.
