Go to Fleet, tap Import, and answer Where is your data now? Only the owner can import.
1. Pick your software
Tap Rental software and choose yours from the list. If it isn't there, tap Other software.
RoveHQ shows the steps for getting your data out of that system, with a link to its own help article where there is one.
2. Export from your old software
Most systems export from the bottom or top of each list (bookings or orders, customers, vehicles or inventory) or from Reports. Download each as CSV or Excel. If you can't find it, ask their support for an export of your data.
Export everything you can: vehicles, customers, bookings, and payments if they're separate.
3. Upload the files together
Upload up to 8 files at once. RoveHQ links them for you: bookings go to the right vehicle by plate and to the right customer by name, phone or ID.
For recognised systems you'll see read as a … export next to each file. Those are read straight away, with no guessing.
4. Check and bring it in
Go through the Vehicles, Rentals, Customers and Money tabs, untick anything you don't want, and tap Bring it in. See Import a spreadsheet for the details of this step.
How things come across:
- Upcoming and current bookings become bookings. Finished ones come in as returned.
- Cancelled bookings, quotes and drafts are listed but left unticked. Tick any you want.
- Security deposits are recorded as deposits held, not income.
- Dates and miles or kilometres are read the way your old software writes them.
Changed your mind? You have 30 days to Take this import back under Earlier imports.

Questions
Which systems does RoveHQ recognise?
Booqable, Checkfront, FareHarbor, HQ Rental Software, Rental Car Manager, RENTALL (formerly Navotar), RentSyst, RentWorks, Rezdy, TSD Rental, TWICE Commerce (formerly Rentle) and VEVS. Exports from any other system still come in; you just check the columns first.
Are deposits counted as income?
No. A security deposit comes in as a deposit held, not as income.
Do I need to cancel my old software first?
No. Import, check everything in RoveHQ, then cancel.
Can someone do it for me?
