Free Croatia car and scooter rental agreement (English–Croatian)
Free bilingual rental agreement for Croatia: zero alcohol under 25, Neum corridor and Green Card, island ferries, winter daytime headlights, motorway tolls, euro pricing.
Croatia's coast road to Dubrovnik crosses Bosnia and Herzegovina at Neum, which many renters don't realise is leaving the country. This agreement makes it a permitted crossing only with your written permission and a Green Card.
What the Croatia version covers
Alcohol. Zero tolerance for drivers under 25, new drivers and professionals: a real point for young renters.
Equipment. Dipped headlights in daylight during winter time, and a reflective vest, warning triangle and first-aid kit in the car.
Tolls and fines. Motorway tolls (no vignette), and fines issued to the renter when the police ask you for their details.
Language. Croatian law requires consumer information in Croatian and Latin script (Consumer Protection Act), so Croatian sits beside the English.
Every EU version also follows EU consumer law: prices shown with every compulsory charge included, damage charged only at its evidenced cost and never above the excess when a damage waiver applies, no keeping the whole deposit as a penalty, and the 14-day withdrawal right not applying to car rental for set dates. Fines and renter details follow the GDPR, and the renter signs on paper or electronically, both valid under eIDAS.
