Add a loan

Only the owner can do this.

  1. Open the vehicle and tap Edit.
  2. Open Loan.
  3. Fill in Sale price, Down payment, Monthly payment, Loan length (months) and Months left. For a new loan, leave Months left empty and it uses the full length.
  4. Tap Save changes.

As you type, RoveHQ shows what you Borrowed, the Total you pay, the Interest (as a flat rate a year, the way Thai hire purchase is quoted) and what's Still to pay. The monthly payment and months left are enough to see what's still to pay.

You can fill this in when you add a vehicle too.

See it on the vehicle

Paperwork & service > Loan shows the monthly payment, still to pay, months left, end date, total, interest and Paid so far. The end date also appears as Loan ends in the tax and insurance dates.

Months left counts down by itself each month. If you pay some off early, change it in Edit. To remove the loan, empty all its boxes there and tap Save changes.

Record payments

Each time you pay, add a cost in Money in & out with type Finance and pick the vehicle. See Add a cost.

Вопросы

Does RoveHQ record my loan payments?

No. Record each one in Money in & out as a Finance cost for the vehicle. Paid so far adds them up.
